No longer one, but hours can be very long depending on how lean the legal team is. I went back to biglaw to work _less_.

Before I added another fully trained attorney to my staff I worked a solid 12-14 hour day, but that’s only because I was the only attorney. It depends on size, what your work focuses on, and the complexity of the contracts you’re dealing with. With a built out team it’s a standard work day.

This is my experience. I work about 9-10 hours a day now. Down from 14+ when it was just me.

Thanks for the insights. Did you at least find your work to be more predictable? Ie you knew when you’d be busy and you knew when you would be more quiet so you could really take advantage of the quieter periods?
