To my Product Managers out there: I recently transitioned into a Product Management position earning < 50k. Came from what I would call Product Maintenance. Has no real title to it. I want to find a better opportunity within Product Management.

What are potential career paths & compensation I could earn if I continue this path? I'd like to eventually become a CPO, but that might just be youthful dreaming. What are some absolutely vital skills/certifications you would recommend?

I am currently a full-time product designer at a small agency in Toronto. A really good opportunity came up to work at a big corporate as a product designer as a contract 6+months they also offered to pay x2 my current salary. I don’t want to give up my full time job for a contract job (kind of risky for me) but I also don’t want to lose this opportunity. What should I do? Is it possible to take on both jobs for now?

I am starting a new position as an SDR at LinkedIn and thus signing a new contract. It’s an entry-level position but I have already worked in the company for some time. Would you recommend negotiating the offer or SDR entry-level positions are usually not negotiable?

(I've heard that other SDRs were earning around 40k EUR 70% base salary and 18k EUR 30% variable earnings, in Ireland)

But, here goes:

So I am a TA, filling 20-30 call center roles per month, on top of taking over some HR responsibilities until we fill our HR Manager roll..so I stay pretty busy, working 40-50 hours per week.

I was wondering...What do TA's do when they don't have any open positions to hire for? Does this happen? Is this a thing?

I have only been at my company for 1year, changed roles once and I just networked with an executive level staff that would like to open a role for me on their team which is directly in line with where my real career interests are. I could see myself spending the next 5-10years growing in this new role. Any suggestions on whether or not to pursue this role? My employer heavily encourages networking internally and taking charge of your career path but I don’t hate my current job and enjoy my team.

Currently work as an Ops Manager for Amazon and interviewing for a few roles - internally as project manager non-tech and externally as Management Consultant at a top firm. I genuinely do think I'd find the work as MC engaging, less certain about the PM one.

Debating if it's worth while to take the consulting gig if end objective (5 year plan) is a remote job that I find engaging.

Would appreciate thoughts from people in similar situations and how you navigated it.
