It’s not that lucrative, can easily make more in big 4 through progression. And many data scientist jobs require masters degrees or phds.

Agreed. Data scientist salary ranges from 80-140k depending on skillset and breadth of technical knowledge Location: Toronto

I need some unbiased perspective: four of us teach the same class and, as required, give common assessments. We discuss how many points assignments are worth, how much we curve each test, etc though we vary a bit here and there on all of these things. The problem is that one of us grades everything DRAMATICALLY easier. Their average on a 50 point assignment might be as much as 20 points higher than the other teachers. What do I tell parents who complain??

Has anyone else dealt with this situation? My company has no CLO or GC. However, my company runs all in house legal opinions through its CCO, a non attorney. Regardless, the company values the layman's point of view more than mine. I do not feel appreciated by this company in my current role.

Most of my spending goes to rent, dining, groceries, seamless, public transportation, Uber/lyft, and online shopping. I posted last week about a job offer I received and whether I should take it or not. I now have another opportunity on the table. I currently make $100k and live in south Texas. Both offers are for $110k plus bonus of around $10k per year. I’m finding it difficult to really increase my salary substantially. This didn’t used to be the case. Every time I’ve ever switched positions, I’ve gotten at least 20% more. Is this common and an issue that most women face or am I going about this incorrectly?
