A million dollars to buy a comfortable apartment in a nice neighborhood. Salary north of 34-40 lakhs.

Amount of money needed to buy a comfortable apt in a nice neighborhood, a nice car and enough money in the bank to not have to work in a stressful job
I rented with my wife daughter and myself and was able to transport by rickshaw and have a couple days a week with the family with at the time a salary of 50k INR or so so I think you’d be solid with about 75k-1lahk a month. But if you’d like to own a decent car and such and a nice apartment I’d have about $200,000 saved up.
Maybe 2crore for a home and car. My parents place Marol suburb of Mumbai is I think about 90lahk or so if they were to sell. That’s a one bedroom. Then you’d need about 4-9 lakh for a car or a nice car I’d just budget 30lahk just to give some room to explore. I like to over budget tho just so if I have extra it’s a nice surprise
