Wow. McKinsey, which has the biggest public sector presence of the MBB, really hasn't been doing too hot at all in the sector.
Its presence is tiny and it's gotten even smaller. Meanwhile it's bungling whatever opportunities it's getting.

Leave for short periods of time. I leave on tv for some background noise (HGTV seems to have the least dogs or sirens) and I close all doors to bedrooms and baths. Then I say and do the same routine: okay I’m going out for a bit. Give him two treats on couch and say see ya later. He’s a smart pup so when he sees me showering, putting on makeup and real clothes that’s his cue. (Seriously funny) Basically no surprises. After awhile will get easier.
I’ve been trying to make a point of leaving more often as I’ve been his constant companion. Being predictable helps.

Choose a phrase that you only say when you’re leaving and say it every time you leave and give them a treat. Mine is “guard the house I love you!” It’s like sit or lay down or any other command. It lets them know you didn’t just get lost or leave without them. It sounds silly but it works.
I’m just going to sob at work the whole time 😭
Planning to use Rover to have someone come and let him out/play with him/walk him in the middle of the day.
I left mine with my parents for a weekend so she could get used to me being away for a little while. That, and extra trips to the dog park, really set her up well for daycare now that I’m back at work. I couldn’t have done it without daycare or at least a dog walker - the thought of leaving her home all day made me too sad.
