I have been very stressed over the last year between work and some personal things and have lost over 10 lbs in the span of a year. I’m already pretty thin and now I just feel like I look “skeleton” like. I try to eat “more” but I just cannot gain the weight back. I definitely think WFH and skipping breakfast some days is contributing to this. I’ve been trying to work out more but also haven’t gotten anywhere / I don’t love weight lifting. Any advice on how to gain 5-10 pounds in a healthy way?

I am a director at PwC making good $$. I am so bored and done with audit that I want a change which includes 1) good health benefits and 2) remote work 100% with 9-5 hours. I’m going to start a new job with a new company while 20 weeks pregnant. Any tips about how to break the news to my new employer? All interviews were conducted via Zoom, so nobody really knows that I’m pregnant. Anyone have a toxic / overbearing mother in law? I thank my lucky stars she lives several states away so we don’t have to deal with her negativity all the time. She always has to be right. Monday morning blues...sigh* the weekend is never long enough, I feel so burnt out and anxious for this upcoming week 😕.

The more time I’ve spent in therapy, the more it seems like my job is significantly contributing to my unhappiness. Problem is I have never worked anywhere else (have been on like 5 projects though and 5 years at the firm), so I’m not sure if it’s working itself that makes me unhappy, or maybe consulting specifically. Can anyone relate? How do you know when it is time to move on?

I am a new BTA, I staffed on my first project where I worked 80+ hours including weekend. My team did not have any time to give feedback. Now I am being "rolled" off due to budget cuts.

So I moved to PwC a couples of months ago from uncle D and things here are so slow... the slowness is causing me have so much anxiety/ depression... also, why the f don’t seniors or superiors take any effort to make a team member feel welcomed 😭😭 (I pushed a ton to get out there, but with little reciprocation, it’s getting difficult)

So my issue is having developed a panic/anxiety disorder where I may be very compromised by anxiety for a minute or two especially during introductions in a presentation. I can’t logic it away because its the amygdala. 99% of time if I get past the first 3-5 min, I’m perfectly fine and confident. I’m not embarrassed by it. In an ideal world, I would introduce myself in a presentation by saying “hey if I have a little anxiety, just let me pause for a minute and feel safe” and it’s fine.

Anyone feel like everyone around them has all their shit together; life, career, everything but your just wasting away your life to a meaningless existence? I know it’s not true but sure feels like it

Need advice. My roommate has anxiety/depression and has been experimenting with drugs like ketamine. He’s always been super chill but freaked out on me violently last week over something small and made me feel super unsafe (I think he was on drugs).
