Today, I officially have enough money to pay off the entire balance of my student loans. Won’t pull the trigger until SCOTUS issues a decision, but having the ability to do so is such a weight off my shoulders that I had to tell someone.

Put it in a high yield savings for the next 9 months. If they don’t do forgiveness, the earliest payments will start is sept 1st, so you could make some interest!

Noooo, if they say no, it starts after their decision is made 60 days after. The July time is only if they don’t decide by then.

Huge congratulations. I'm getting closer myself and am also waiting for the decision, but either way I'm stoked to have even made it this far. When I first started working this felt totally impossible. Way to go!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Congratulations!!

Same ! Imagine if they forgive it, having some extra money for ourselves ! To invest, save, putting it back into the economy, etc. imagine !

Happy for you mate, I’m still getting there, one day ima get it off of me

Dear Microsoft Fishes,

Attended interview by May month and in-between process has been kept on hold for fiscal year things..

Now HR said that offer is due anytime once approval is provided. Still I'm waiting for approval.

Hr also said, there will be bgv once I get the offer and it takes 3 weeks..

Any idea guys... once we get offer we can trust ms right ? Because it's getting delayed and my old offers from Indian mncs will get expired.

Please put some ideas friends.

Additional Posts in Student Loans

I have a 25K loan from my MBA. I paid off 100k whole, after graduation. 3 years ago, I moved my loan from federal to private ( SOFI) account. I recently lost my job. I have applied for unemployment, as the severance that I received will only cover for 2 months. Together my husband and I used to make less than 250k after tax. Now, with a loss of pay , we are going to make less. Do you think I will be eligible for Loan forgiveness?

If you have any varying factors too, like kids, income range, etc. Just trying to see if I’m on track or slacking in life. I am 34 yo, i graduated with 95k in student loans, i currently have 85k left and i make 85k in come. I’m also a single mom with two kids. Just praying for 100% student loans forgiveness. Wishful thinking???
