I’m in a rather peculiar situation. I have been in the HR field going on 4 years, I have over 11 years of management experience, I got my PHR last year and I recently graduated with my MBA with a concentration in HR this month. I am ready for a more challenging role. However, there doesn’t seem to be much available at my current company. However, I am going on 5 months pregnant with the expectation of being out in October. I feel like once I mentioned my pregnancy I was in a holding pattern.

Anyone else feel like we are just shuffling in place? Feels like we were so fast to jump into quarantine and put solid fence posts up (rightly so) but I feel like we keep pushing the plans to get out of qtine our week after week with the same message being told without much progress.

I'm really excited. I basically couldn't walk for like a week after I had COVID. Even just laying down hurt. It was like merely existing was excruciating (reminded me of the last 8 weeks or so of pregnancy honestly).

My brother is being committed because of severe OCD and delusions/hallucinations of hurting himself and the people around him. He has no life and has trouble leaving the house. About 10 years ago he felt better and got a degree in Computer Science but can't/will not work and he collects social security.
