Agree. Wholeheartedly. 🙏 It’s also worth remembering a couple of other things about Gideon. First, it was the first SCOTUS decision to extend the Bill of Rights to states through the 14th Amendment. Second, the decision was the result of a remarkable collaboration between a drifter with an elementary school education, whose handwritten cert petition made the initial due process argument, and two of the finest constitution minds in the country, Abe Fortas and Abe Krash of Arnold, Fortas & Porter, who represented Gideon pro Bono at the request of the Court and who turned Gideon’s idea into a foundational principle of our justice system.

Beautifully written. Thanks so much for sharing!

Cheers 🥂

I got laid off from my accounting/consulting firm in January and have since been taking a class related to my industry but from a tech angle. I prefer to leave consulting but could stay off the work and work life balance were better. I signed up for this class thinking hiring woods be soft until midyear give or take just wish the class finished. I look on this app and it seems everyone is hiring. Am I missing the boat by not being in a full throttle job search now?
