Oh, let's do process of elimination...not A.T. Kearney.
Not Accenture
It’s PwC. $1k bonus to all (we’re still lowest paying Big4) and 8 weeks paid leave for new child, gender agnostic
P1 - fake news on us being the lowest paid. Take a gander at the compensation bowl if you need a refresher..
Damn sure not EY
which firm?
PwC
April fool's was yesterday
P2. Not fake news. Offer letters for students coming out of undergrad and MBA confirm
The bonuses should have been as a % of base rather than flat 1k for everyone.
We never get those random bonuses
EY2, While I’m certainly thankful for a bonus the grass is not always greener. Our base pay is often 10-15% lower than EY
Hopefully KPMG will follow suit soon. It's kind of a joke anyway since you are either leadership or a MBA Senior by the time you are having kids anyway
Okay P1 - what do you think campus hires at EY and KPMG start out at?
MBA is 135k for PwC and 145-147 for EY
I'm talking about undergrad P1. If EY wants to overpay for MBA hires that's their prerogative.. $135k is already too high if you ask me. You also can't compare without taking role into account which oftentimes aligns more to S& type work.
Over paying for MBAs is great. Makes it easy to pay off the loans
P2, you should probably tell all the partners they are overpaying for MBAs. What a bunch of suckers!
P1 - you still haven't answered my original question. On the MBA pay, yes I have no qualms telling the partners in my group that it doesn't make sense to pay those amounts for an MBA degree for the work that we do and yes, generally we don't recruit them for our group.
P2, what group?
