I interviewed for the position of Associate Human Capital Advisory role at KPMG. I cleared my first round but for the second round tgey gave me 2 case studies and one excel assessment to be completed in 2.5 hours. I think I messed up the case studies and just wrote the approach and recommendations but didn't include any other preferable portions. Is there a minimum cutoff for these assessments?

Hello everyone,
I am Data engineer with relevant experience in Big Data and AWS cloud of 8 years and got an offer from axtria.
I read some bad things about the work life balance there, is it true? I am thinking whether to resign or not.
If yes when should I tell them that I am not interested.Axtria

I don’t think you should. Letting Linkedin automatically show where you are going by way of job update is the coolest. Announcing at a non-partner level just seems too kool-aid-esque.

You should definitely announce it since you’ll be a partner. It’s a great jumping off point for BD purposes. Just doing the job update won’t have the same reach. Not as many folks will see it.

Nah, it’s cool. Just don’t post like a high school senior-style photo with it (like I see all these new law school grads doing 😵💫)
Yes. Just update your title when you actually switch.

This.
No photo for sure, but I don’t want to look like the kids who accept summer offers a year before and are like “I’m happy to announce.” I just had to say I’m not at my old firm and down want it to look like I’m just a deadbeat or fired

🙈 oops
It’s your LinkedIn. Do whatever tf you want. Lol
I just don’t understand why ppl care so much about other ppl posting about their accomplishments on their social media. If you don’t like it, just unfollow. Imagine hating someone else’s joy—couldn’t be me lol

Right? I honestly think some people hate on it because of their own insecurities. I applaud people for putting themselves out there and celebrating something that’s meaningful to them.
I actually appreciate seeing these updates as they happen. I often look people up when they leave. By the time it’s been a couple weeks/months later, I’ve forgotten, and I generally ignore LinkedIn notifications.
I’m in the same boat, but I’m waiting. I think you should be patient and just wait the few weeks for the auto job change update. Looks classy and still sends the same message.
Genuinely curious - why do you want to post that update in the first place? Is it to humble brag? Is it to get “likes”? Is it to feel a self-satisfactory sense of accomplishment? Not trying to put you down - just genuinely want to try understanding why ppl post fb-esque status updates on linkedin and the motive behind it.
Also, ppl may just want to celebrate their accomplishments with themselves and others. Also, makes them feel good and a nice boost to the self-esteem.
No issue with that!
There’s plenty of people I’m connected to on linked in who aren’t at the old or new firm. Biz contacts and other non lawyers as well as law school colleagues etc. I sit on a number of boards and do charity work.
