Someone pls educate me on 401ks! If I earn 80k and my employer does a dollar for dollar match up to 3% of my contribution and then 50 cents on the dollar match for the next 2% I contribute, would the breakdown look like this:

3% employee contribution: 2400
2% employee contribution: 1600
First 3% employee match at 100%: 2400
Second 2% employee match at 50%: 800

Or is it based on the 19,500 401k max amount?

I just realized I’ll likely have a MAGI of over $124,000 this year and will have to reduce the amount I contribute to my Roth IRA. I don’t know exactly by how much and I’ve already contributed about $1,900 directly through my Roth IRA. Does anyone know if I can still do a backdoor Roth IRA for the remainder of the $6,000?
