Ladies, I know Deloitte has 16 week parental leave. What’s the policy for your company ( BCG, Bain, McKinsey, PWC, Etc)? Thanks.
Just sat next to Ben Carson on my flight out of Atlanta. Asked him are you scared bro cause you're sitting next to a Muslim? No response followed by a silent flight. Smh
how do you make yourself likeable enough to get lunch buddies? i find it suffocating/shallow to talk about "travel plans" "what you did on the weekend" "how much did you pay for that" 😬
When you check your Delta app Sunday night and the red Sky Priority band magically appears in the top left corner of your trip >>>
I’m compiling a list of mini red flags in relationships: 1) Men who “just don’t like Hillary Clinton”, 2) Elon Musk fan-boys, 3) Men who have an opinion on your choice of birth control. What are yours?
Does anybody know which countries allow non-US citizens from India? I’m trying to book a flight for my parents but all the available flights seem to be via countries where travel has been banned.
16 weeks and so worried all of the stress I’m under is going to hurt the baby. Between work, my own scary (non-pregnancy) health stuff, the pandemic, my mom (who is a widow and lives alone, basically isolated by choice due to covid) is having health issues, and pressures to keep billable hours up, I’ve been having complete breakdowns. Today I spent almost the entire day crying and now have to make up the billable time this weekend. I really worry abt what effect this will have on the babe.
McKinsey dads: what’s parental leave time at your firm? Is there a minimum tenure requirement to take the leave?
Have any of you experienced coming off continuous birth control after a while? I’ve been taking the pill every day for the past 4 years and haven’t had a period. Really enjoy no periods but I want to come off to stop unnecessarily pumping my body with hormones (not trying to get pregnant or anything lol) Talked to my GYN and she’s fine with it, but IDK what to expect physically/emotionally/etc.
What makes the CSR card worth it to you? I will definitely be using the $300 travel credit so just trying to to justify the $150 AF now. (cont.)
Facebook friend training to be AA flight attendant states "hardest thing anyone could ever do besides maybe becoming an astronaut or brain surgeon"
Regular hotel sold out when I checked in. They offered to pay for cab, 1 night @ diff hotel 10 miles away plus 14K SPG points. Anyone with this experience? How can I ask for more?
Planning a last minute trip over thanksgiving ideally to a beach with our kids under 5 years (from the east coast). Any recommended locations, including specific kid friendly hotels? Thanks!!
Any Indoor exercise bike recommendations. Have to burn calories and bring down sugar levels due to bad travel food habbits and lack of exercise
My flight last night got cancelled on delta (first delayed) until the next day due to maintenance issues. How many miles?!
ZS fish - What do you expect travel to be like after offices open? (I.e. similar to pre-Covid when it was minimal/local?)
Does anyone know if there are slots available for Dropbox for h4 visa extension in india? Also, want to get a sense of how much time is it currently being taken for h4 visa stamping (extension case) at US embassy. TIA

How often does MBB do ERP design?
Do you resign over email to HR/Coach or is a phone call more preferable in these Covid times?
How can I become more “okay” with being an average performer? I’m two years out of school and have been considered a high performer so far, but it’s taken a toll on my mental health and I feel anxious most days. I’ve realized that the cost of being a high performer outweighs the benefits, and am trying to loosen up and be more comfortable with coasting on occasion... I’m what people may consider an insecure overachiever. Has anybody here ever had the same feeling?
Which consulting firms would you recommend for working on IoT, Mobility and industry 4.0 type of client engagements?
For all the PA exit timing questions (senior/manager,etc) from my experience, I don't believe your PA level is most important. Leave for the right role with explicit managerial duties such as (cont)
EY interview tips needed.please help.
Something isn’t quite adding up for me, though I haven’t been in consulting long so it may be my ignorance. People say MBB has great exit opps, but none of the “sexy” ones thrown around (e.g., PE, PM) directly translate from consulting, and the those that do (internal consulting / corp strat) aren’t met with much enthusiasm. What am I missing?
Thoughts on an exit to MaRS?
What are some good questions to ask in an interview to determine the financial strength of an agency? It’s an independent agency without any public financial information.
Need some advice! I'm a recent PhD grad (30 yo) in STEM, and just got some offers from different companies. Particularly, two of them are interesting to me. 1) from a Energy Market Company in Pennsylvania as an Operations Research Scientist, 95k + 15% bonus + very good benefits and generous PTO. It's a very chill job (9-5) with good people but limited opportunity to growth. 2) from a consulting company in NYC as a data science consultant, 130k + 10k signing bonus. Which one you choose? why?
How many months after promotion to senior should you stay before exiting or transferring to another practice?
Isn’t JETS a solid long term play? Granted most airlines are down due to this delta variant and I’m sure it might drop a bit more, but with the way everyone is traveling I don’t see how this doesn’t play out well long term
Ugh. First okcupid DTF and now hidden valley ranch BFD. Lazy and trying too hard at the same time. And to make it more relatable to suburban dads, they got the kid to say- I’ve got your bfd right here
H1b peeps, Stephen Miller, the author of the immigration "ban" is now working on an EO on work visas.
Any fish out there leave your firm either during or immediately after taking paternity / maternity leave? Any repercussions to take into consideration if you don’t return to work for a specific length of time?
Applying in-house for content marketing role. It’s obvious they want a design AND content guru, and I can only do one at a professional level (content - I’m not a designer)... (cont)
