Does anyone have any suggestions for learning new areas of law that you may not have work experience with (immigration, contracts, etc.) without going back to school?
2.5 YOE, 6.2 LPA Mainframe, recently got an offer from TCS for Mainframe Developer position with 7.5Lpa. My project Director called me and willing to match the salary here in Cognizant. He said i will be eligible for yearly hike as well.
Please suggest if truly I will be eligible for yearly hike after being retained and is it good to stay overall.
P.S - TCS gave 7.5 on top of 5.1 LPA, 6.2 is what i got recently in April promotion for Associate.
If anyone's interested, Collective (fintech startup) has remote openings for a lead / mid-weight product designers, a graphic designer.
I personally do not work there, but would be happy to pass any books along!
Will recent joiners too get green light email? I joined on 10th Jan and have no snapshots yet, although those will be for PY23.
Should I expect green light email? Any hike this year ?(I had heard that it will be given considering commensurate performance)
If someone can shed light on this. TIA
At the Big 4, what's the highest salary for a Senior Associate that you've seen? I'm trying to negotiate.
Just started a new job as a claims processor. ALOT of new information, any tips/tricks/advice?

Are we feeling confident in deal flow for the future or are our jobs at risk right now. Not feeling great seems like things picked up then slowed again
Hi! My friend works as a recruiter for a recruiting agency, and he told me the company will let recruiters “pay debt”. So each month that you don’t close any deal, you get paid for your base salary, then you are also on debt. Once you close a deal for example 3 months later, then you have to pay your salary back for those 3 months that you did not close any deal. And also the Inmail fee on LinkedIn will be deducted from the commission too. Is this normal in recruiting agencies?
I completed two years at Accenture recently. Still no news of any promotion, isn't by default promotion applicable after 2 years of service? It is highly demotivating :(
Recently laid off and looking for recruiters that specialize in media/strategy/advertising (both agency and client side). Sure there are others looking as well - would greatly appreciate any info.
