It’s been interesting to see the debates on here between those who want to reopen and those who think we need to stay in lockdown. For those who want states to reopen, do you think employees should be forced to return to work if their companies reopen, with the penalty of losing unemployment benefits if they don’t return to work?

Honestly, what do you think weddings will look like this summer? We have already postponed twice from last spring, and are slated for late June this year, but are feeling pretty uneasy about this@even happening. We are considering cancelling the whole thing and doing a smaller intimate wedding with family/friends. We would lose all our deposits, and need to do the math on it, but we just are having a hard time justifying spending all the money for a big wedding this summer if people don’t (cont)

Have an opportunity to join a new part of our business. It involves a title bump, 15-20% increase in total comp, and a more high profile area in the business. Skillset is great to take with me when i leave my current corporate gig. Cons are it’s def going to be inferior wlb (probably by 5 hours a day at least) and less friendly team. Worth it?

Friend delayed her wedding due to coronavirus concerns. Was going to be in September of this year and now it’s going to be September 2021.

She wants the bridal party to ‘stay excited’ though and host bimonthly events (virtually for now) in the meantime starting now and leading up to it.
I feel bad but I’m already incredibly exhausted with work post-round 2 of layoffs and dealing with my family. I almost want to bow out of being a bridesmaid...
