Has anyone ever quit without a new job lined up? If so, why? And what was it like looking for a new job after quitting? Were you asked about the gap? Why would anyone leave without something lined up?

I am being pushed to do some work at 6am thats supposed to alternate within team members. But it seems like I’m stuck doing it because I’m the newest team member.
