Took 4 antigen tests last night. 2 by InteliSwab that both came out negative. 2 by CareStart / Access Bio that both gave me a faint positive line (tests expire in Jan 2022). No PCR available in the area. Not sure if I have Covid or not…

If I’m honest, I don’t want COVID to end because I really enjoy working from home. I get a lot more done, and I can see my family and pets and neighbors… It isn’t easier. It’s just better. My friend is quitting at FCB because they are forcing them to come back 3 days a week. That gives me anxiety that I’ll be forced back soon at Publicis. Anyone else feel this way?

Morning rant - I kinda hate this hypocrisy where we are doing everything in the world at this stage - visiting malls, watching movies, going to restaurants/pubs, travelling the world BUT just when it comes to going to offices, covid is a risk we will not go.

Well, our district found a COVID loophole and are exploiting it. They get to determine whether or not we are considered a “close contact” or not with a positive student. And because they told us to “never be within 6’ of a student for 15 minutes or longer” (in a tiny classroom with 28 JH students), they’re justifying that if we test positive “despite their efforts”, it’s on us, not the district, so they won’t cover any medical costs or give us the Covid days off. Talk about feeling expendable.

I started working at law firms when I was in college and throughout law school. My level of experience is more on the lines of a 3rd or 4th year yet I'm really a first year. Some attroneys recognize this and give me really advanced work yet others treat me as a really junior and give me really junior work. What's the best way to handle this?
