Hi ,I have been interviewed and selected in S&P Global .salary almost negotiated and waiting for the offer letter to release. But seems like they are not willing to release the offer because of my 90 np . They are asking to join by 60 days but initially I told them my NP is 90. Even I am ready to take the 60 days offer but now they are not releasing offer as they want assurance. Now they are not picking calls.seems like i will loose the offer. Is there anything can be done.

Wow... you must be awesome
I’m aware of the good fortune I currently enjoy. But that hasn’t always been the case. I’ve been laid off several times before.
So the salary cut wasn’t worth it, and now you’re being offered even more money to go back? I’m gonna go ahead and say take the ECD job, but only because that’s the only possible logical answer
At the end of the day, money matters. And you can always find time for extra curriculars on the side.
Experiential design is so much fun but the pay is shit and it’s really seasonal. I’d take the role.
What does that pay? Might be interested in the switch too, it it’s all advertising isn’t it? Don’t understand why it’d pay less.
In this case, it was heavier on the event design, planning and production side and less brand activation. Basically throwing giant parties for luxury brands. I could do that for a living but not afford a Manhattan mortgage.
The ECD role will be on the corporate side and involve a good amount of B2B work. But pays substantially more than more former CD role at TBWA.
As another commentator pointed out, I can always indulge my penchant for event design in my spare time.
Take it!
I am in same boat but me stepping outside the industry is being a challenge as they question the career move

Is the ECD role at an agency with a great CCO? Or is it a role you’ll never make anything good in and get stuck?
