Hey guys, super naive intern here! What’re the main differences between creative directors, associate creative directors, and executive creative directors?
I am graduating this December 2021 to get my bachelors degree. Recently signed the full-time offer as a tax consultant from Deloitte, however; HR reached out to me says that if I do not fulfill 150 credits I should consider an internship with them. What should I do in this case, when they give me offer they didn’t mention any of this. Any suggestions?
Anyone have insight into Simon-Kucher & Partners vs. Kx Advisors for a summer internship?
Is it my luck or are recruiters really backed up and taking forever to get back about status? I got an offer for an internship only after reaching out about status a week after they said they would get back.
I am graduating with a degree in PR and a lot of internship experience. Do you think taking a post-grad internship with a major agency is a good entry point? Or should I hold out for full-time?
Beginner interning at PwC this summer. Nervous about expectations but planning to get Security+ and messing around w/ other tools. What can I expect and any infoSec intern advice?
Happy Thanksgiving! I'm currently at 2.5 YOE in tech consulting and looking for a career transition. But I'm not sure how to put my experiences on resume at this stage in career. Had 3 internships in colleges, and a 2 YOE in unrelated field from ~7 years ago. Current version includes the 2 YOE, my last internship in NLP, and the current job and feel like it's bit out dated or not compelling enough. How would you polish your resume with all these experiences? Cont'd.
How did you guys pick accounting for a profession/career? For me, I loved numbers since I was young. Then I had a high school and college internship during busy season that helped decide my future.
For the CPA application, how do you fill out the date section on the form if it has not been a full year since you’ve started full time with the firm but the internship counts for the experience?
Current undergrad. Have internship offers for two very different roles. The first is a public sector generalist management consulting position in DC. The second is for a smaller early-stage incubation venture capital firm in NYC. I've always been somewhat of a generalist, with varying interests. I feel as though based on my decision my life could go in very different directions... Any insights? Esp if you're in public sector consulting or have made a similar dec. Gratitude.
If you’re in the middle of your summer internship and you’ve been working hard and doing your best work, how to do you help yourself get an offer extended to you?
Is it better to delay graduation for more internships? I did one internship but when I compare myself to other students within my major I feel behind. Everyone seems to have 2,3, or 4 internships already. I never knew how people would have the time to do that while trying graduate on time.
Just received an offer from BAH for 75,000 to come in as a consultant on the federal side. I have a masters degree in international affairs from a top school and 1-2 years of relevant internship experience but no full time experience. No clearance. Is this a fair offer? Could I negotiate for more?
What’s a fair expectation for my first raise? Publicly traded co with ~2500 employees. I’ve been doing litigation with the company for almost 3 yrs and have only had a 2% cost of living raise so far. Graduated in 2014. Base comp is $127.5k in the Philly area. I see salaries all over the place in this site and it’s hard to tell whether mine is competitive.
Would love to hear from the folks who live in KY and voted for McConnell. KY is ranked 44th for healthcare, 45th for fiscal stability and 7th overall for childhood poverty...are these good rankings for you? Do you all just hate children and money?

Hey Fish, A job just called and asked me to bid a job without payment until it’s awarded (were the single bidder). I was laid off in March and haven’t produced since then, so I don’t mind doing the first bit pro bono, but my wife (also a freelancer) doesn’t think I should work for free. Opinions?

Wife and I are going in with my BIL and SIL to pay for a retirement/40th anniversary/MIL's 60th birthday trip to an island for my parents in law when they retire next year. They think we forgot about all of those events and are going to lose it when we give the gift at Christmas. Father in law has had a lot of frustration, getting included in two mass layoffs in two years and taking two straight 40% pay cuts at the end of his career. We're so excited to give them something to look forward to.
