I joined my current company with a fairly good base but it’s still a paycut from my old job. I was making 200k but coming to this job, I came down to 185k because of a function change. In exchange, the founders gave me more equity. Despite the role change, I got a pretty good salary imo but I miss my old salary and want to make sure my buying power is increasing each year, taking inflation into account. How can I ask for a salary increase when my base is already “at level”? Been here a year now
