I think JLC Master Control should be on this list
John@timelessluxwatches.com
Re: the JLC, I haven’t tried one of the Master Controls on personally (I assume we’re talking about the sector Dial version), but it would be a great option - 39mm and only 8.5mm thick. It should wear like a dream.
My top five all had independently moving hour hands, i.e. the movement wouldn’t be stopped/interrupted when switching time zones.
@M3 - I have the reverso duo and never wear it, but I feel like I would if I was still in consulting or banking
Yeah, makes sense. I’m a big fan of watches in the 36-40mm range - any bigger just feels like too much, at least for me. If the GS Snowflake or Peacock came in a 39mm I’d be all over it.
I picked up a GMT BB and a Rolex Daytona recently and then Rolex wears just a little bit nicer
Finding the Rolex for retail price is like finding a unicorn, but the other 4 are just as impressive and available through me!

Do you guys think a JLC reverso is too dressy as a daily watch to wear for work?
M3 wondering the same myself. Any owners please respond!

Surprised the BB GMT is higher on your list than the Rolex, especially with the date switching issues they’ve had with the new movements. I’m not a fan of how big the Tudor wears, either (in both thickness and case diameter).
Acc1; all valid points. The B.B. GMT is more accessible than the Rolex, which is the only reason it’s higher. I’ve owned a Black Bay and while it is a little bigger, it’s still quite comfortable. I wore it on an aftermarket Rubber B strap that was a perfect match.
@HC1 Which reference Daytona?
