I’m in Boston now on an engagement, and a few colleagues live in NH. It’s great if you don’t have to actually be in Boston, as the commute easily takes 1.5-two hours each way. ....However, those said NH residents have to be onsite in Boston M-Th, because they are local - and the commute is killing them

@OP - why would you consider Boston/NH after saying Chicago is too cold? Boston, not NY is more likely to get the weather that hits Chicago since it is basically a straight line east If you don’t have to travel, who cares? If it were me, I’d be out west and surrounded by mountains and sun.

3 months into a 6 month internal project. I proactively scheduled a feedback session with the “big boss”/key stakeholder tomorrow (I have weekly check-ins with my day to day lead weekly), and I am terrified. They are highly critical and can come off as abrasive, and any ad-hoc feedback I receive makes me feel like I’m never good enough. I’m expecting to have darts thrown at me and want to curl up in a ball and cry after... any advice? Just didn’t want to be blindsided at the end of the project.
