The best is when they ask for X years experience on a technology that hasn't existed that long.

Can anyone tell me what technical questions will be asked during interview with EY for Senior Associate in FAAS practice.

I was hosting a pretty high level (1 or 2 level below c suite) meeting with a European client and they asked me “oh isn’t today a bank holiday you guys are working today?”.

And, while very obviously working I replied “well we aren’t a bank”. My manager was shocked for like 5 seconds and repeated what I said. Am I in trouble?

For those of you that are citizen / PR. Do you get tons of Singapore recruiters chasing you for roles which are way out of your focus area, getting interviews done only to be ghosted after? I had a few of these and decided to not entertain anymore. My general feeling is they use me to 1- get a salary benchmark, and 2- check the box to interview an “unqualified” local only to use it as justification to get an EP for a foreigner they were targeting to bring here in the first place.

It has been a week since an HR from Deloitte has sent me the JD in a mail. I was told I would be contacted by the coordination team for scheduling interview. I havent heard from them yet. Is it a lost opportunity?

I’m Interviewing for a promotion tomorrow and I am wondering what a typical pay increase is for a move from agent to SME for a large tech company in Austin. Everything I am reading is based on stats from 2019 or 2020. I know how much people have gotten in the past for the same move at my company and in the event that they offer me something similar I am wondering if it would be acceptable for me to negotiate for more due to inflation?
