Career conversations coming up… how do I successfully ask for a 15k(+) raise? —- backstory—- I took a career change and just graduated with my MS in December. I originally asked for the 15k over what I accepted- because I knew I was more mid level than entry. I’ve been working entry level for this company one month, and I’ve been praised left and right- saying I’m blowing everyone out of the water with my knowledge and efficiency. So it’s justified I correctly place myself at mid level.

Looking for any opportunity to teach again. 2022 will be a year of many new things and among them will be teaching remotely.

Which one would you pick?? Uber $200k TC. Lyft $185k TC. Yes, it's between those two...I know that Lyft is a better ride experience/company image so is it the same internally tech-wise?? 1 YOE.

Hi everyone! I currently work in an outpatient setting doing individual therapy but am planning to leave my job. I have a handful of patients, some of which have been meeting with me consistently for over 2 years, that I suspect will want to remain in touch after I leave. Has anyone ever done this before? I’m surprised how many SF developers, 9 out of 10, do not know the out of box functional capabilities of the Salesforce platform and what the standard objects are. All I see are a bunch of custom objects and apex triggers as their default design. Is it right time to almost have a functional and a technical consultant like SAP where the functional does all the functional design, configuration and mapping to what are available natively while tech does all the coding?

How do I get a job outside India as a Salesforce Developer/ Consultant (US, Canada, Australia or any European country). Right now I have 2.5 yoe in Salesforce as a developer and have both PD1 and Admin certifications. I really want to move out with my parents and start afresh outside India. Ever been “leapfrogged” for promotion by someone more junior in your own team? Any advice on coping? Not confirmed/announced yet but I’ve heard it from an inside source. I’ve had nothing but positive feedback all year, they knew I wanted a promotion and had made the right noises about getting one when possible, and I didn’t think this colleague was performing significantly better so hurting pretty bad about it...
