I don’t think there’s a “correct” answer, but honestly, I’d do both. We have the luxury of being able to be generous. Your previous secretary has already done nearly a year’s worth of work for you, and you’ll probably spend significant time with your new one going forward. Nice thing to do.
A1 - I was definitely leaning in that direction! Alternatively I was thinking of knocking it down one class year for the new secretary ($200 for original secretary and $100 for new secretary) based on the fact that the former is the one doing the work for this year.

I knocked it down one class year for my old secretary and did the full for my new secretary, but my old one doesn’t do anything anymore (and hasn’t since I got a new one in October). I know it’s cheap but it would’ve been $600 combined and like, I didn’t even spend that on my parents..
