Wow @PWC1 you sure have the stick shoved up your ass far today
Maybe 6 months atleast, it would be after March which is good to leave after busy season if 12/31 client(s)
@pwc 1 why are you judging so hard, you know none of the circumstances. How do you even know OP wanted the transfer?
One year would minimize impact. Two years and no one would even think about it. Anything less and it will come up if someone calls for a reference
Absolutely no expectation from recruiters viewpoint. From experience.
Uhm... you’re not even at the new job and you’re already planning your exit? 😯😯
What’s the difference? You’re effectively starting a new job - new clients, new team, new everything. Why are you even bothering with the transfer if you don’t plan to stay?
I mean... you asked the question... I’m giving you my opinion... maybe next time don’t ask a question if you’re not willing to deal with opinions different from your own
Pwc1 you never gave an option technically. Never answered OPs question.
OP: 6 months minimum, a year and I don’t think anyone questions.
@PWC1 It’s not a new job...it’s just an office transfer
@EY1 - technically, you’re right :) I was too surprised by the question. For me it’ll be one year.
Did they pay for your move? If do, it may be spelled out in your transfer agreement or employee benefits handbook
