Travel friends- tell me if I’m wrong. I’m1a, standing in 1b & trying to put my things in order to get my bag up. Guy in 1d throws his bag over my head into the compartment above me and gets mad

Cough on him and say “sorry, just haven’t been feeling well since I got back from Wuhan”

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA Good one D1!!

He’s an ass, but you gotta be quick when you’re in the first row. Bulkhead in any cabin during boarding is like a dystopian novel.

Sadly last minute upgrade (for me and him)

Typical Deloitte move, bruh

Well I agree with Dir1 about Deloitte 1’s comment....but it’s soooooo good I’m rofl

Okay, got it. Fair points - I took too long. I guess I thought because there was space above his side (1c/1d) and I was still standing, and he had to reach over me, it was a clear signal. Message - signals don’t matter, only results

Chaotic evil

When I glare at him. We’re all first row, all bags need to go up. Is there a rule to respect compartments on each side of the aisle if I’m standing with my laptop bag in front of me?

Other facts - I’m female, hes 6’ and can easily reach over me

Never doubt your gut, girl! He is a f*cking dick.

likefunny

Ha that's why I never sit at the first row. No under seat space for person item, closest with lavatory = smelly.

Shoulda kept my comfort plus seat

No reserved compartments

What travel/rewards credit cards do you all recommend that will give you the most value for your buck (points, annual fees, intro offer, etc)? Originally, I planned on Southwest but read elsewhere to look at non-travel cards (e.g. Chase Sapphire Preferred and Amex Blue Cash Preferred).

I have always dreamt of living abroad. A few years in Europe, and then APAC. Transfer plans fell through with covid, and I’m pretty sure they will be delayed due to Delta. Turning 25 this month and feel like that dream is getting farther away. I’ve always been ambitious, but as I’m getting older I’ve realized traveling and exploring other cultures is what truly makes me happy and that’s what I want to use my career in tech to fund. I know this is a first world problem, but has anyone done this?

16 weeks and so worried all of the stress I’m under is going to hurt the baby. Between work, my own scary (non-pregnancy) health stuff, the pandemic, my mom (who is a widow and lives alone, basically isolated by choice due to covid) is having health issues, and pressures to keep billable hours up, I’ve been having complete breakdowns. Today I spent almost the entire day crying and now have to make up the billable time this weekend. I really worry abt what effect this will have on the babe.

Might be a paranoid mom question - my 16 month old is starting daycare next week. So far, I’ve had virtual interviews/meet and greet sessions with the daycare staff. Today we went in for our in-person orientation and I noticed that my child is the only non-white kid in his class of 8. Not entirely shocking, but in my head (and having seen pictures in their catalog) I was hoping there would be a little more diversity.
