It's a catch 22. If you don't show up, you're seen as lazy. If you do show up, everyone hates you.
Do not be rude and get everyone else sick. Work remotely. I cannot express how much worse it is if you choose to be selfish and still come in while you're sick.
Stay home. Last year one person came in sick and wiped out the entire team and half our client counterparts. Prompted an email from our SM titled "don't be a hero"
Talk to your senior on the best course of action. And make sure he/she hears how sick you are by coughing and sneezing like death.
First step is to Show Up!
Never.
I say always show up. Take medicine, drink crazy amounts of water and tea, and sack up. If you can't stop coughing or blowing your nose in the first 3 hours, then leave; people will appreciate that you tried, and understand why you had to leave.
I would talk to senior. I think it's incredibly rude to come in to work contagious and so do clients. If your supervisor says come anyway they have no common sense
Talk to the manager say your sick. Offer to fly Tuesday if you are better.
