A professional couple (ages 42 and 53) in Long Beach looking for other couples for platonic friendships. We are two relatively successful guys, very secure in our relationship but we don’t have a lot of friends. Neither of us have any family near by. We are looking for a similar couple to be friends with, hangout and just be there for each other when needed.

So I have the perfect job, perfect company culture, perfect industry I wanna be in, colleagues are the best ppl I’ve worked with, blahhh, I love it all, except I’m underpaid🥴 and yes I know I should pivot or ask for a raise, but I’m so afraid of asking for a raise / never negotiated a raise, when I know our head of department is trying to get raises for everyone in our department. How should I voice this, or if I event should. Should I also be interviewing with other companies? Yea please help

Last week, I had an interview with a company for a niche role which I had no idea about. The role was for Databricks Engineer, and I am currently working as a Data Engineer which is more on the broader aspect of it.

During the interview, I was really confident and I answered all the questions correctly as per my knowledge and interviewer was pretty happy with it it as well. No question was asked from Databricks or any cloud tech, it was more focused on the fundamentals of Data Engineering. 1/2
