Are there analytics consulting firms still hiring that work on longer term projects (i.e. 3-6 months)? I'm working in deal analytics and while I actually like consulting, I'm tired of constantly working on diligence projects, having 0 WLB, or being able to think deeply about problems my client has. I don't mind traveling, but would appreciate a firm that has some flexibility on where my home base is.

There’s a corporate partner that was a big-time lateral hire. He is always out of the loop on the deals and hands off on everything BUT any time there is a client call, he tries to provide input that is very off base (i.e., stating incorrect facts, creating inapplicable hypotheticals, or being an alarmist on items were previous addressed).
