Thank you! This seemed like a post taken from your friendly neighborhood influencer on Insta.

People put GE on there at one point of time

I'm sure Kodak was once there as well.

Who can afford Berkshire Hathaway?

Class B is for Class B citizens who can’t afford A

Well you actually make money by selling the stock

*pay taxes

I have owned WM since 2014 and DIS since 2011 and while I am generally happy with them it still seems to me that there is too much risk. I’d rather just buy SPY500

don’t forget about IBM

The Schwabs of the worked now offer fractionals so BRK.A is an option.

I wouldnt put sbux on this list. Their main objective currently is Intl and that will be hard

It’s working in China

SBUX won't work in India for sure. Agreed with CA1

I don’t agree. India has a strong cafe culture (Costa Coffee, etc). Starbucks has been in India for the last few years, I think it’s doing well actually

AMZN, GOOG should be on there J&J, WM, Starbucks? Not sure about all that. May be a bit dated

There is no sure thing. If you look at history of S&P500, half of these won't exist due to failure or acquisition at discount within 20 years.

We’re always buyers and we’re always sellers.

LOL Waste Management did anyone hear of 2001?

The only thing I laugh at here was my grandfather teaching a lesson in the 80’s - during tynenol issue then, he said “buy up now”

Commission plan discussion:
I was promoted to Director of Sales and am tasked with revamping our sales commission plans

We are in a high margin industry, the majority of the team’s sales are transactional, so they are quick closes, and they have a base around 60k

Current plan is: 3, 5, 6, and 8% of revenue depending on different factors

I am thinking of streamlining to make everything 10%. (5% paid upfront when they land the sale, 5% paid once invoiced).

Thoughts? Things to consider?

Just landed on an agency’s homepage and saw this. In 2019. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Has your firm ever mislead you? How?

I honestly want to slap other obvious consultants when I watch them shove all their bags and their jackets into the overhead. Stop contributing to the problem. You should know better.

What clients does Droga5 currently work with?

Got a competitive offer from another firm. Are salary counteroffers assumed in this day and age? If so what's reasonable? 10%? I've always been horrible negotiating for myself

Setting up a new team, everything from process with PMs to management of creatives and production partner relationships and process. Couple years into the CD role but this much freedom is new - intimidating but motivating - any learnings or advice?

Anyone have a book they would recommend on charting for beginners?

How many days it will take to me to have fair understanding of RPA Blue prism?

My DOJ of Wipro was 17-Dec 2021. Will I be getting the JB in Dec's salary? Or need to wait for Jan's salary?

What role titles should I be targeting as an exit?

I have 5 years consulting experience across multiple industries , a data science masters (know sql, python , etc) , 4 years analyst experience before consulting.

Looking for 300k minimum and a chill work week maximum 40 hours.

This is a serious post, please help me I can’t stand consulting anymore but don’t feel like I learned anything here 😞

Hi guys,

Is anyone getting hike in Dec 21 in ACN and joined after 30th April 21.

Best book for beginner case prep?

My current job where I'm a Business int. Analyst at a startup, my total salary is $62k (started at 57k & got a 5k bonus after 1st year). In 4-5 months I'm going to get a promotion once I complete 2 yrs, assuming it'll bring the total salary to be around $70-75K
Recently got an offer from a FANG comp. The offer is $66K base, 17K sign-on bonus in 1st year & 12k in 2nd year & RSUs valued at $40k vesting: 4 years
I think the new offer is quite low, expecting base to be at-least $80k.

I see a lot on this bowl about immediate industry exit compensation. How does compensation in industry grow through your 30’s and 40’s and what is a (very) rough number that it might cap at? Understand this is highly variable but any input would be appreciated :)

Sure, Cannes is cool. But have you ever worked from home all week because all your bosses are gone?
