What is the best hotel card to get? Currently have reward numbers will all the major players, but no cc's for any of them. Me and my fiance have the companion pass with southwest and want to sign up for a hotel card with great bonuses and rewards to really drop the cost of vacations.
Is vaccine discrimination lurking at Kearney MEA? The company said that it won't be mandating vaccines. But a recent email from HR asked for every employee's vaccination status. Should unvaccinated consultants fear discrimination (can't travel, won't be staffed, will have low utilization, will be at risk)? Honest question for an open debate

@McK fish - Does anyone know who actually evaluates the resumes and makes decisions on interview offers? Not for campus - for experienced hires. Generalist roles.
Hit up the director of an MBB practice on LinkedIn and he responded that we should talk. Need advice on how to steer the conversation in my favour. Can I outrightly ask for a referral?

When should I tell my boss/team that I’m expecting? I’m fully remote and don’t have to worry about “showing” at work, but want to give my colleagues ample heads up without jumping the gun too soon
Hi fellow fishes, I've been offered a Tech strategy role at PWC SDC, Bangalore. My total experience is of 6 years (2.5 pre-MBA and 3.5 post-MBA). The offered role is of the same domain in which I've been working for the last 3.5 years @ACN. PWC are offering me a Senior Associate position. My question is - should I or can I negotiate with the HR to give me a better position (e.g. Manager) than the Senior Associate? Thanks in advance!
I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance. I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members. Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?
If I were to get a bonus, when would I actually see it? (Sorry if this has been asked before)
Any advice on flying cross-country with a 2-year old? Worried about everything from Covid to babyproofing and it’s making me not want to do it at all.
My dad is a bit financially strict (borderline financially abusive) to my mom, so I want to set up a way to give her allowance money regularly on the DL. Would this be best done by setting up a credit card account for her? Or a separate checking account to which I deposit money every month? How would you do it? TIA!
Could use your help. I’m reviewing a contract for a new (in-house, freelance) gig, and the following 3 things I want to counter — or at least I’m curious if these are common: 1) Non-compete for 2 years for same industry 2) Must have liability insurance for up to 2 million while there (didn’t know this existed honestly) 3) Must give 30 day notice if leaving (I’m fine with 2 weeks…but 30 days?!) …Any advice on if these are standard and how to best negotiate them?
What's the salary range to expect with a Data Science master's and 2-3 professional business experience?
I’m 30 years old and have been running my own (small) agency over the past two years, working with local businesses. I’ve got a solid book of client and spec work, with creative ad copy. I’ve also written for Sports Illustrated, so I can write anything from articles to ad copy. Before that, I worked in communications at a few law firms. Now I’m looking to work at an ad agency as a copywriter. Honest question: is it a reach to pursue that? And, if it isn’t a reach, do I apply for entry-level?
I am currently situated in the US and plan to do a landing in Canada for PR stamping. Any recent experiences going through this? Can I just land, get the stamping and fly back? Or do I need to wait back for negative covid test?
My B1/B2 visa to the US expires at the end of Feb 2022. If I enter to visit the US in mid Jan 2022 will I get a I94 valid for 6 months or it’s typically upto the visa end date only ? And is there any draw back in staying longer than the visa expiry date but assuming it is within the I94 end date
The market is HOT. Went to see recruiter yesterday and already have 3 interviews scheduled for jobs I would love.
Reminder: if you've clocked in tons of hours a week OR worked a weekend, you need to request comp time for your sanity. No one will give you that time off without asking for it. 🖊 Your Mental Health
