AC1, based on what we know about trump, the way to effect change is to go on Fox and Frienda, not through a government committee. More effective and less optics issues.
What does MCK do to have Frienda be an autocorrect 🤔
Or Trump can get ahead and claim to disband them before they dissolve themselves and he's further embarrassed. Bannon and Miller will be the last two standing lol.
OP you are about to get it. Lol. Here come the capes.
What did he do now to confirm his true (racist) colors?
Is it easier to affect change in the forum or not on the forum? The optics aren't good for the people who don't understand this, but being closer may have more value. It's tough for the public company heads because they lose market share by staying on the forum because the majority will view it as seemingly aligning with the Trump.
@mck1. Yeah, I don't know, honestly. I don't know if Trump takes any piece of advice more seriously than the next. But if he actually takes into consideration the views of those on the forum, more so than those not on the forum......
I've seen both arguments made today on FB... I think each council member has there own "objective function" that they are trying to maximize.... there is definitely a trade off that must be made and each must answer the question is it worth. I think we can all acknowledge that there will definitely be a cost associated with being associated with POTUS at his point at this time...
On the flip side, there will also be variance on the benefits of having a "seat at the table"
It would be more insightful to see the policies and changes he is suggesting. Are the policies really inclusive?
EY2 that raises an interesting point... there's so much noise that there has been little talk on the strategic direction and different initiatives coming out of this council (assuming it's not just for PR)
The group has met 2x with the President who has about zero respect and ability to get anything done in Congress; the reputation hit outweighs business objectives that this forum won't impact anyway. Seems they might agree
