How is the career growth moving from a Big 4 firm to AlixPartners at the SVP level?
What are some of the benefits/challenges of moving to a smaller consulting organization?
Also based on research, AP seems to be a top heavy business model. What impacts does that have on work life balance, teaming, culture, etc.?

I make $132k~ base+bonus before tax at a boutique in a T2/LCOL city (Atlanta, Houston, Salt Lake City). Good benefits, excellent culture and wlb. I'm an expert in my niche and overall a very conscientious and competent person. I get my work done in 20 hours or so each week. Some months I average less than 10 hours of actual work.

I've been wanting to get a T15+ MBA for some time, but most exits have poor WLB. Am I crazy for wanting to leave my current gig? (cont)
