Some thoughts. Seriously watch this video it’s so weird... The first statement in the video says: “The media minimized the risk from the start”. Then he goes on to play multiple clips, all from Fox News, of them saying the virus was no big deal. Fox News lol....😂😂😂 Then there’s a timeline where they highlight their actions, which then jumps from February 6th to March 2nd....lol what the hell happened to the entire month of February? Nothing happened, they couldn’t find any worthy item to mention on the timeline they themselves prepared. Then there’s a bunch of clips of governors and others saying Trump is doing a good job. Jesus, this was very surreal. I am now OK with all mejor networks not airing any of his remarks live.

Wow. The president attacked Fox News. He must be moving fully over to OANN. It’s also a bit clearer why he doesn’t clarify things when he announces changes and his response, but lets someone else do it. The clips of his response also include the lies or blatant misrepresentations of the policies around “halting travel”. He halted some flights from China, and it was too late. He blocked non-citizens/non-family of citizens from returning from Europe. Also, here’s the full haberman exchange. He cut the sentence that says it was the last thing he did for weeks. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/25/podcasts/the-daily/trump-coronavirus.html. It’s the one where she says naming travel from China was his “mission accomplished” moment. Also, CBS asked the question “what did your administration due all of February?” The President was stumped. As a refresher, here was his rally schedule: Feb 10 - New Hampshire Feb 19 - Arizona Feb 20 - Colorado Feb 21 - Nevada Feb 28 - South Carolina He also spent several weekends at his Florida and other properties golfing. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2020/03/08/after-stopping-cdc-his-way-mar-a-lago-trump-heads-golf-course-two-days-row/ Governors did say good things, I’m but I think you can tie that back to them wanting not to get cut out of the supply, which still happened (or they didn’t get nearly as timely a response)

My husband and I have concert tickets to a big outdoor festival that was cancelled for covid and is now happening in late August. His brothers and some college friends are flying in to stay with us. We just found out we're pregnant and I'll be 9 weeks by concert time. We aren't ready to tell anyone but we can't think how we can ask them to cancel without explaining. We are all vaccinated and are in SF so cases are low, but not zero. Any advice?
