What advice do you have for an A1 audit associate at a B4 trying to get into strategy? I’m tired of doing this work, it feels meaningless to me and strategy seems to be in line with what I want to do. Any advice would be great, thanks!

IOs in b4 consulting - what was most important in terms of what to know as you landed projects?

What roles would I be able to apply for at SFDC as a recent college grad? I Interned in a B4 Salesforce practice last summer (received a return offer) and recently got my admin certification.

Applied several times to Investment Banking at the Director/MD level at many of the Top 10 to Top15 investment banks. Most times, the status doesn't change or even when it changes, I have never gotten a phone screen. I have got 15+ experience with 5 in banking and 10 in Consulting - Financial Advisory (M&A / Corp Fin). Work at a small boutique and came to the US from Africa in 2012. I've given up on Big 4 positions as I sense biases in screening.

Any thoughts or insights that could help?

What’s an appropriate level for a senior manager at big 4 (7 years of strategy & ops consulting experience after MBA. 5 years of engineering experience in non tech before MBA). 2nd tier MBA?

Ex-Consulant here that now works for a big name Real Estate Investment Trust. Saw on LinkedIn that EY has an America’s REIT Leader. Didn’t know that much attention was paid to the REIT space. Are there really consulting teams dedicated to the REIT space in the Big 4? Love working for a REIT and would love to jump back to consulting if there were teams dedicated to the industry.

I’ve told a couple people this statement and thought it was a good idea for it to be first post in the bowl. If Vialto wants to retain and attract talent then Vialto needs to pay more than Big 4. I am hoping come July everyone recieves a more than average pay bump.

How many overtime hours pay did you all receive as an analyst? In my offer, it stated I will be eligible to receive overtime pay as a CDP analyst so how much more $$$ is that for the year? 3k? 5k? Etc

Would another big 4 give early promotion? Currently Senior 2 in Tax at EY. Not getting promoted this year but pretty much guaranteed promotion next year if I stick around. I am planning to change
