I tried cutting for the first time. I don’t recognize myself. I want to take short term disability to “fix” myself. Therapy isn’t enough. I don’t know how to do that. Has anyone done it? Any advice?

Are the home testing kits even 1% accurate. I water in one and it gave the result as positive! Big companies like Abott are just fleecing customers.
I am looking to move out of Development and more into Delivery Management. I have taken on the SME role for the last 3 years which has meant I have been used a lot more in the building of teams, project planning, running meetings and workshops, requirement gathering etc. I was wondering if anyone else has made this move from Development to Delivery and how did you do it. I am wondering if there are any qualifications I should do to help me get interviews.

Never said this in my exit interview, but the main reason I left Accenture was because they were so many incompetent people at the Senior Manager level. I don’t wanna be in the same league with them. So I went to a real tech company where folks are much more competent.
Sometimes I crack myself up writing briefs. Like girl why you so serious. Like it’s a phone not a peace treaty. It’s ketchup not American nostalgia. I get that we’re supposed to make meaning out of commodities and differentiate itself but man it’s just noise. The products and the brands don’t catch up with the insights. It is love we want; it is Calvin Klein Eternity we buy. How do y’all deal?

Does anyone else struggle with waking up in the middle of the night and being unable to fall back asleep? It’s bad for me, and I’m on trazodone to help, but I still have episodes. I have good sleep hygiene, although with my job sometimes it’s unavoidable to look at screens semi-close to bedtime.
I really need to figure this out because I have a chronic illness that’s triggered by lack of sleep, and I’m beyond worthless without sleep. Any tips or medication suggestions are appreciated.

Has anyone successfully lost 45 pounds? If so, what program did you follow? I have tried everything but after I was put on steroids for autoimmune I’ve been unable to lose the weight. I can’t seem to find a program I can stick to as I’ve been normal weight up until now and it’s pretty discouraging. Any tips and tricks are appreciated!
