Trying to close an IC. Sold it for 3.50, it’s worth .20 now. Trying to buy it back. Keep getting message from RH that the bid ask spread is 6.30 do I want to adjust my price. Idk what the means cont
And can’t get any order to execute. Any suggestions?
What stock? Very low transaction volume, sellers are asking a lot more than buyers (the spread) and it doesn’t seem like you’ll be able to sell it.
Just to be clear on terms, you purchased the interior put/call and sold the hedges?
Make sure there is sufficient liquidity in the option before trading it. I usually look for an Open Interest > 500.
It’s an iron condor so 2 credit spreads... 4 legs options strategy
Yea I know, trying to understand the sentiment of the play, what you mean by “sold”.
Buying a condor would be selling the higher strike put and lower strike call, in which you can let it expire. Is that what you did? Also, what’s the expiry?
Just let it expire
Testing my short call... 4 days left...
You can often close more easily each side. Close the Put spread and close the Call side separately. What is the Mark on each side?
