With the exception of last year, wildfires really donât affect most people.
LA = better weather, Miami = lower cost of living
San Diego if that's an option, you get the benefit of beach vibes of LA without awful traffic (it's getting worse though).

Miami is hardly a right wing utopia.
It is a consistently liberal city/county, in a state well known to be âpurpleâ.
Miami, but avoid Miami/South Beach. Or just prepare for a ton of traffic in your commute (especially during holidays or spring break). Look at Brickell, for example. If you really want to be on the beach, look at condos in North Miami Beach to Ft Lauderdale. Did I mention avoid South Beach? Las Olas is great.
