Trying to exit consulting, but the only opportunities I'm getting are for consulting. Any advice fishers on how I can switch career paths. I'm a tech strategy manager at Deloitte, trying to switch to Product Management or Project Management roles

Technical program manager may be a better title to look for

like

Senior Program Manager is a good title to search for. After that you can probably switch internally.

Do you have any leads that you don't mind sharing?

Same, any insights out there? Always seem to be losing interviews to those already in industry.

First Product vs Project manager roles are two very different skill sets so it’s going to be two different challenges to get one or the other. Second - if you don’t have strong PM experience the easiest way to become a PM is work in a product facing role and work heavily with Product and transfer internally.
