Trying to figure out how to rewrite my resume to get into an entry level PR position after 7 years as a Paralegal/Legal Secretary. My undergraduate major is in Communications already, but I was in the legal field as part of the family business. I know some core skills transfer over such as writing, analyzing and researching, but how do I make those skills marketable in a PR setting?

I'm also taking some Coursera classes relating to PR/Social Media marketing to refresh my memory from college.

My recommendation is to network with PR folks, buy them coffee or cocktails, and get them to vouch for you, and add them to your references. Then rewrite your resume to show that you did Comms work for your current position (they’ll never verify). More than half the battle is in declaring yourself to be who you are.

Senior engineer making 135k and I was offered a promotion to engineering manager after completing a development plan. Near the end of the plan and I expect compensation talks to start soon. Based on some research around Boston and my role in the company, I feel 165k plus 10-15% bonus is fair. Nonetheless, first time going through something like this and asking for thoughts and comments. Thanks!

Looking for insights from any seller at any of the hold co’s. I have an opportunity to join a new team at a hold co but I’m not sure if it will be a great move to make. I’m doing very well where I am, book of biz is thriving, but the allure of working at a larger company than my small company seems like a great resume builder. I’m not sure where I want to be in 5 years, but this seems like a good way to make myself more appealing. I’ll have to rebuild my book of biz, which means pay cut.

Currently at B4 and most of my work has been on the international side. Doing a masters of tax law (LLM opened up to non-JD candidates) and find that I’m really interested in what transaction tax / National folks do with memo writing & legal analysis/planning.
I know PwC has a group in the international space that focuses solely on planning. Anyone know if that’s limited to lawyers?

Hi All I have "quick 2 questions" as I recently got an offer from Deloitte India

1) For Consultant Role (Front end React) Have received 9.8 fixed and 1.8 variable. Is this okay ?
I have 3.3 years of experience because the expectations I had was of 13 but the recruiter didn't asked for salary discussion instead send me the offer directly.

2) Is there any joining bonus coz the recruiter said there isn't any joining bonus at Deloitte.

Anyone from Akamai here?

Need some info on business operations analyst role

Thanks in advance😊

Hi Everyone,
I am looking to make a career change into Data Engineering and wish to gain in-depth knowledge on it.

A brief background on my skillset. I am a Data Analyst with 7+ years of experience in Statistical Programming, Business Analytics and providing end-to-end analytical solution. I majorly work on Python, SQL, C#, tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI etc

I want to learn and grow as a 'full-stack data engineer', if there is something like it.
Please help me with a learning path.
