How old are you? 30 here, turn on if people love alone, big turn on if they own their place and ooze responsibility
Depends. Do the house mates join in?
4 is a lot. How big is your place? I would think it s a turn off if we are trying to hook up for the first time, and as you bring me in, I also have to meet 4 news faces.
Assuming you’re young and in a big/expensive city, I’d say it’s pretty normal. Agree with Bain1 that it’s weird to need to meet a big crowd pre hook up, but even with many roommates ppl normally are in their rooms and are surprisingly oblivious. I’d save the money until you (not others) care more
It isn't exactly a turn off, but does make things a bit complicated (both as a host and as a guest)
Are you single? If you’re comfortable with your roommates generally and they’re comfortable seeing your hookups around some mornings, I think it works. Otherwise you pay a lot more rent for occasional privacy.
Well I am loud
Yes turnoff but mostly because I’ve been burned by this before. I always ask about their living situation and suggest my place instead if there are roommates.
Not always a bad thing safety wise...
A hookup - yes. Dating - not necessarily
