Trying to get a feel for salary expectations at somewhere like Accenture or Deloitte. Currently a Consulting Manager at Workday. Master of Arts in Organizational Management, 6 years experience Consulting, 1 year experience as a Consulting Manager. Prior to Consulting also 3 years of a leadership + 5 years non-leadership experience with different company. Total years in workforce = 15. What level might I qualify for at Deloitte or Accenture and what might Base+Bonus or Total Comp look like?

I came in with similar experience to Accenture at SM. $220 base in another cloud software group (workday competitor). Deloitte said they’d bring me in at Manager (not SM) at similar comp though.

You can probably come in as a manager and 150-170 base salary

If you want to stay in the Workday practice but just do it for a Workday partner that you listed you would most likely come in at Manager and I agree with the 150-170 range. Director level would be much higher salary but partner firms rarely bring folks on at that level without entire project management or sales experience so I’d expect Manager level.

Suppose you are 3 months pregnant and interviewing for a job. Would you disclose to the recruiter that you are expecting or is there no need to give that information until after being hired? As for the compensation, if you’ve already been told pre-interview, the salary range for the role, is it appropriate to negotiate a number for the salary if you are asked your desired salary in the first screening interview? Or should you try to hold off on the negotiation after you receive an offer?

Been interviewing with D, EY and Accenture at M level. Keep feeling a bait and switch to SC. I'm M currently. The feedback has only been that I "haven't worked on large enough projects" and that 1 yr as an SC to M timeline would allow me to "learn their capabilities, approaches, etc".

Anyone else face this? I'm a bit frustrated. High performer, MBA... How much will this effect salary, if I accept an SC vs. M offer?
