Is 120k salary enough to enjoy DC ?
Hi ,I have been interviewed and selected in S&P Global .salary almost negotiated and waiting for the offer letter to release. But seems like they are not willing to release the offer because of my 90 np . They are asking to join by 60 days but initially I told them my NP is 90. Even I am ready to take the 60 days offer but now they are not releasing offer as they want assurance. Now they are not picking calls.seems like i will loose the offer. Is there anything can be done.

[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?
DM me for more details.

Since when does anyone listen to building representatives? What are they going to do? Make you move it all back?
It's always better to beg forgiveness than ask permission...
Waiting to hear back if they can deliver it and my husband and I carry the prices to the elevators ourselves. This is beyond stupid.
Stupid until someone gets hurt transporting it
What happens if y'all moved yourself? Very confused.
City?
Fort Lee, NJ. We have an elevator, so there is pretty much 0% chance of injury... we have to pay $500 deposit to reserve the damn elevator.
The building wants us to pay movers and I think it is absolutely bonkers. It *might* take 2 whole elevator trips. We are probably going to have them deliver it and we will carry the pieces into the elevator ourselves, but I'm just in awe of the excessive rules.
Oh wait this is your home? I was assuming office, was really confused about why you were bringing in personal furniture. Brain is fried. Yeah that's stupid 😂.
Yeah literally trying to move in 3 matching dressers and a table and chairs. They are all antiques and we are already paying the family friend a few hundred to bring to down to our apt since it is a 6 hr drive, so we don't want to pay another few hundred for insured movers to literally walk 100 ft to an elevator then another 20 ft to our apt. That's just absurd. They should be allowed to help us carry the pieces in.
Where is the line drawn? Can you bring in a stool?
Very blurry... we carried in my grandparents antique music chest (small) before the movers arrived, but we drove it over on a Friday night and they would not let us carry it in until Monday because they only allow furniture moves M-F 9a-5p
