I just got an email from a recruiter from Google!

He said that the position is in the Bay Area or New York. I haven’t replied the email. I don’t think we can move to those cities, but I don’t want to lose this opportunity. Does anyone know if Google does remote jobs within US?

It’s good for like Albany. NYC, no. Negotiate harder.

Yes it's good. You're going to be coming in 400k in first year and more as you tenure. Industry bonuses especially in FS are almost always (exception short blips like covid or a genuine recession) paid out to target.
You know the rules, you always negotiate. Even if you don't get it, you're still being assessed. You can go back and forth 1 or 2 times without issue.
Bonus & stock grants look good. For base negotiate it to 300k
Agree
NY is just soooo expensive.
What YOE is SVP?
And who are you supporting? Single? Then that's fine. 4 person family with a stay at home spouse will be stretching it on base alone
Mm, ok. Yeah it's not bad on the grand scheme of things, but if your partner isnt working, you might want to look into negotiating a lil higher is possible
Congrats and good luck!
