Trying to get into FP&A from Big 4 What’s the best route? Work in a company’s accounting dept and transferring to FP&A?

Hi! I work in an OIG. What other roles within the government would be an easy transition from auditing, as a 13? For background I worked as a manager at a Big 4 in Risk/Internal Controls and a smaller firm auditing contracts and grants.

Looking for advice—currently a senior in a transformation role at a Big 4 firm and will likely be promoted to manager this year. A BCG recruiter reached out about an opportunity in their risk practice. More interested in transformation work but BCG has a great brand and I’m curious if it’s a opportunity seriously worth pursuing. Options: 1) Stay at Bain, take GMATs and aim for top 10 MBA (would aim for score around 730) to get out of accounting altogether.
