Start with reading the NIST documentation. Then start looking at whatever documentation the client has. Then look at topology. Then decide what amount of risk the system owner is taking on.

Yesterday there was a tragedy in Brooklyn Sunset Park area where there was a mass shooting in the subway. I had a trip planned to Dallas today to see family for Spring Break flying on AA via LaGuardia. Did not use mass transit to get to LaGuardia as the suspect is still missing. Wanted to let everyone know security was amazing at LaGuardia today. Felt very safe when I entered the airport-@createme

In my market, you have to waive financing and mortgage contingency to even be considered. Annoyed this is now common practice. 😞

First time flying via LGA. What a terrible experience. Insane traffic to get here, stuck on tarmac. Over an hour late already. JFK or EWR any better?

hi fishes- I recent got an offer from JPMC for a 602 at $130k base + 7% bonus. Aside from that, I also have another offer (public govt) for $84k, no bonus but will give a direct report. I’ve been working at this public govt office for the last 1.5 yrs and it’s comfortable and I don’t have private sector experience. The LOB in JPMC is CIB. I would also be giving up ~$6K in pension. I don’t pay for commute right now (5x in office) but I’d have to pay addl expense for JPMC (3x). Any thoughts? TIA!

Moving to DC later this month (from Europe) and I started following DC related Instagram accounts to learn more about the area (Washingtonian Mag, Washingtonian Probs, clock out DC, etc) and I’m really taken aback by all the shootings. I’m moving to navy yard and noticed there seem to be a few near the ball park. Any advice on places to try avoid when walking alone? The concept of guns and shootings is new to me, so maybe this is just an American thing I’m not used to? Is it normal?!
