Currently NTT having WFH or Not ??
Hi All,
Could anyone please tell me what is the process of putting paper in capG? What are the steps I have to follow? I am still on my probation period but I don't want to continue here anymore as my role and project is not what I expected. Any other suggestions for me is also welcomed.
Thanks in advance.Capgemini

I know a lot of people that did that. They all started selling ideas to their agency that they could direct themselves ... Of course your CDs need to trust in you. If that is not the case try shooting clips for your friends band (every creative know someone in a band). I'm assuming you just don't have the time and money to become some director assistant so you are going to need a strong portfolio.
^ it's hard, starts from 0 and requires solid connections! You're not going to executive produce anything yet, almost gotta start as PA.. I've have aborted twice doing to the producer program through the N.Y. film academy and have gone to their open houses and talked to faculty. It requires a real drive and commitment and CONNECTIONS! Dated a producer for nightly news for cbs, he had 18 years of experience starting from 0
Yes. And also No. I'm switching careers now but there are def some that are somewhat unattainable after a certain age. Why don't you try applying on the side to select positions and see what happens. It doesn't hurt. Have tailored resume versions for those. You never know as long add your hopes are not totally unrealistic.
My mentee did it. She was a consummate networker, created, produced, shot a few episodes of a show idea, went to film school and now is working in the entertainment industry.
Sorry, I should clarify. I'm not a creative and I don't want to be a film creative. I want to be a film marketer or executive producer.
Thanks AD1. Best of luck with your switch!
Hahaha sorry. When I saw your post I instantly projected my own desire... I really wanna switch as well but to become a director. The problem is, the agency I work is not really making any video content right now.
Ah and study a lot. Buy book, take classes, watch films.
^yeah that's what's keeping me from pursuing it. I don't want to move to LA and make shit money climbing a different ladder for 20 years just to get the job I want. Was hoping I could move into film marketing for a big studio or Netflix or something, and then mayyyyybe Weasley my way into a leadership role that lets me work on the films in some way. It's tough. You really do have to know what you want to do at a young age if you want to get there before 60. Otherwise once you start climbing one ladder it's too hard to jump to another :/
