Hello, I have 2 offers from Siemens for Bangalore location (work from office) and Medline Industries for Pune location. Siemens is giving a little higher package comparing to Medline Industries but which one will be good for me as a career growth n work life balance. I am a Cyber security analyst (VAPT) with 3 year experience living in Pune.

I have a few friends who did it. Typically, it’s via an MBA.
Hey OP- this is second hand knowledge so take it with a grain of salt. Typically, in the US, there are 2 standard ways of going into PE: either through sell-side experience (IB) or by working in solid DD projects at a (usually prestigious) consulting firm.
If you don’t think either of those paths are possible, then the best bet is to do whatever you are doing now, get admitted into an MBA program, do finance internship (IB/Trading/HF - doesn’t matter) pre-MBA, recruit for IB within MBA and then in a couple years switch to PE. That’s the standard path I have seen with my friends.
Also, I dunno if this is US-specific, but in some countries (like India), people directly start in PE. It’s fairly common to do that there. In the US, PE route typically goes through IB first. Obviously, I am not accounting for exceptional cases or extremely small shops. All bets are off in those cases.
