Hi all,
Does your organization have a good work-life balance, especially for IDs? Or do you know any such organisation? Currently I am working for more than 12 hours a day. I am a mother of one year old, hence, want to switch to the organization, which has less work pressure.

What’s your diet looking like with that calorie surplus? Depending on what’s in it & how much water you’re taking in, it could be some bloating/water weight.
Otherwise, depending on how much you drank, I’d point to the holiday drinking. I did a lot of that and it definitely pressed pause on my goals 😂

That’s what I thought but in last month, my muscle mass grew and fat % went down. :-| because I did not ignore my workout even with holiday drinking.
Well you’re in a calorie surplus plus holiday drinking so that will probably be it. Step up the cardio, put yourself back into a deficit with a focus on protein, reduce your carb intake week over week while keeping fats the same, and keep weight training for the definition. Oh, and keep up the great freaking work!!

Thanks! I think it is the carbs, because I definitely started having more of f those last couple of months.
^ no real thing as toning. You’re adding muscle or losing fat
Toning = build muscle and lose fat
How are you measuring body fat? BF measurement can be pretty screwy unless getting DEXA scans.
There was a collection of body pics beside dexa scan results on the web somewhere, and it was pretty eye opening how people at the same bf% can look so different, even when their BMI was similar.
No I meant BMI. Two guys with the same bf and height will of course look very diff if one is 150 and the other is 200. That's a matter of bmi, or ffmi
It might be water weight. Play around with macros and reduce carbs, while increasing protein or fat if you want to stay at a surplus. Also adding in a bit of cardio would help as well. Are you trying to body recomp?

Every couple of weeks, I also take a 60 min HIT class.
Diet is a lot, but if you’re looking for ab toning focus on knee ups and crunches on your back while moving your legs in a bicycling motion.

I do abs atleast two times a week - a combination of three types 3 sets.

I feel bloated when I eat too much sodium. Also probiotics help.

Consistently averaging (%) 30C 40P 30F over last 3 months, before that about 25-28C. I am 38, 190 lbs. last three months I have been having my calories at about 2500-2700 before that I was completely in deficit at eating about 2100. All weekly averages. I weight train 5 days with weekend as rest days. I squat and deadlift 1RPM is 290 lbs. my drop from 215 to 188 was prior to last three months and last three months just oscillate between 188 - 193, my body has significantly recomposed still. My trainer doesn’t want me to lose more weight.
"abs are made in the kitchen." May not be your recent calorie intake, but rather the choice of food/drink (sugar, carbs, etc.). We all have rock solid abs underneath the blubber. 💪🏼💪🏼
No outside about it. Holiday drinking. Lethargic and half a$$ed workouts.
